Today is Evan's 4th Birthday! He has worked so hard for the past 3 months we hope that his party today gives him a little needed rest! I feel a miracle coming soon! Possibly today?????? If you would like, get on his site and wish him a happy birthday too! You can find the link on this page where it is marked "Evans Donation Site".

Melissa -

The DeMellos are so very lucky to have such a close friend like you. You are so loving and caring! Evan's story has touched me so very much. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't check his journal and say many, many prayers for him and his family. My mom (Marcy Weber) was in St. Louis yesterday for a routine test and stopped by Children's hospital to drop off some snacks for them. It absolutely tore her up to see that CICU. I have so much admiration and respect for Sean and Natalie because being a mother of a 10 year old and 7 year old - I can't imagine going through what they have had to endure the last four years! They are amazing!! We all take for granted how wonderful our lives are and you are right, God has put Evan on this earth to touch so many people and he has definitely done that! Our constant thoughts and prayers are with him at all times. There isn't one single night that goes by that my oldest daughter Emily says right before bed, "Mom- how's Evan! Don't forget to pray for him tonight!". His story has touched not only adults but even children. God bless him, his family and his close friends like you! We are keeping all of you in our prayers!!
