Help!!

This is my inspiration room! Hopefully after the martha reject is finished with this project, it will look like the above picture. Well, minus the $50,000 in furniture!

I am about to do something dangerous..... I am wanting to whitewash my sun room. I have never whitewashed anything! I have searched online for articles and videos and I really haven't come up with much. I know that I need to use 1 part paint 4 parts water. So... do you have any tips for me? Email me if you have advice to lend!

This is what my walls look like right now. Although my sunroom's
planks run vertically and we have windows that line the room not doors.
I would take a picture of the real room but it is a wreck!
